The Mississippi Outdoors crew heads to Madison County to follow Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks Commissioner Billy Mounger on a multi-day pursuit of the Eastern wild turkey. Often considered one of the most difficult animals to hunt in Mississippi, wild turkeys test a hunter’s patience, strategy, and timing. After several days in the woods, the hunt finally comes together with a rare triple-bearded gobbler — a unique payoff to an already challenging pursuit.
