The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) wants to inform the public that Tippah County Lake in Ripley, MS, reopened on Saturday, May 30, 2026 to fishing and boating only.

The temporary closure was due to the ongoing cleanup efforts and storm debris removal following Winter Storm Fern in January.

The campground will remain closed as repairs and debris cleanup from the storm continue. MDWFP will notify the public once the campground reopens.

MDWFP appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as cleanup and repair work has continued to restore the area and ensure the safety of visitors.
