Oxford based fishing guide Aaron Barton, owner of Barton Outfitters, took his mother, Karen Guthrie, on a multi-species fishing trip on Sept. 22. The pair caught crappie and white bass, but the highlight of the trip was when Karen’s Bandit 300 crankbait connected with a nice Enid Lake bucket mouth. After weighing and photographing the catch, it was released to be enjoyed another day.
