Crappie Masters National Championship to be held on Tenn-Tom Waterway

The 2012 Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters National Championship will be held Oct. 5-6 on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway near Columbus. Some 200 teams and 400 competitors will be vying for the $150,000 in cash and prizes — and the championship title.

The fall’s first duck hunting opportunity for Mississippi will begin when the early teal season opens on Sept. 15.
